2015 St. Georgen Blaufränkisch Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Toasty, slightly sooty, earthy and tobacco scent of mainly black berries with a little pepper, a little bacon, leather and cedar tones. Ripe, slightly developed, tart, juicy dark fruit with smoky wood spice, dried vegetable and bacon aromas, salt and tobacco traces, persistent on the palate, has power, good depth, also peppery tones in the background, hinted tar, quite complex, mushroom nuances, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with smoky roasted wood and some minerality
