2015 Blaufränkisch trocken Leithakalk, Burgenland, Austria

Light nutty and dried vegetal notes on the nose, black berries and cherry aromas, hint of pepper and tobacco. Fairly juicy firm fruit on the palate, herbaceous and peppery notes, light nutty oak, youthful, fairly well integrated, fine sandy tannins, persistent with good substance, elegant acid bite, dried floral nuances, earthy, salty and chalky mineral notes in the background, some grip, good to very good tart, juicy finish. Great value for money.
