Firm, fairly elegant nose, ripe black berries, smoked Swiss ham, delicate hint of dried herbs, some tobacco, integrated spicy oak. Firm, juicy, partly dried fruit on the palate, some toasted oak and tobacco, dried herbs, tart dark earthy notes, noticeable salty mineral notes, persistent, fine youthful tannins, still lsightly astringent, some depth, red bell peppers in the background, very good finish with a hint of citrus. Excellent partner with grilled lamb chops.

Editor note: Translate to English Leicht säuerlicher, fein-tabakiger Duft nach Kirschen und überwiegend schwarzen Beeren mit getrocknet-pflanzlichen Nuancen, wenig Holz und erdigen Tönen. Fest gewirkte, klare, dunkle, ziemlich saftige Frucht, rauchige Holznoten, etwas Tabak und Bitterschokolade, recht feines, noch jugendliches und ganz leicht antrocknendes Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, hat Substanz und Kraft, aber keine Schwere, harmonisch, zart würzig, sehr guter, saftiger, verhältnismäßig kühler Abgang. Sehr gekonnt.
