2008 Sauvignon Blanc trocken Klausen, Burgenland, Austria

Ripe pomaceous fruit and red berries on the nose, vegetal and mineral notes, some wilted grass. Compact and persistent on the palate, polished apple fruit and berries, herbs and spices, hint of cassis, some preserved bell peppers, prominent mineral notes, integrated acidity, has substance, but is also elegant, clear varietal character and shows its origins, firm with good persistence and some depth, very good finish.
