2007 Merlot trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Partly preserved cherries, black berries and some red berries on the nose, herbaceous and earthy aromas, light mineral notes. Quite firm fruit on the palate, elegant acid bite, fairly prominent, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, quite persistent, earthy and mineral notes, light spice, has some depth, still youthful, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: 2012-2019+. What our ratings mean
