2006 Cabernet-Merlot trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Red and some black berries on the nose, prominent notes of fresh leeks. Relatively dark fruit on the palate, some dark chocolate, oak, some more vegetal notes, particularly reminiscent of leeks, quite fine, slightly astringent tannins, fairly creamy, mineral and floral notes in the background, fairly prominent cocoa on an otherwise good finish.
