Light nutty, spicy oak on the nose, light dried herbs, ripe black and a few red berries, hint of tobacco, licorice and cardamom. Ripe, fairly juicy, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, candied nuts and spicy oak, fairly prominent fine tannins, light acid bite, peppery traces in the background, some dried herbs, good substance and persistence, some grip and depth, tarry traces, very good juicy, spicy finish.

Editor note: Ripe mixed berries and cherries on the nose, light spicy oak, some pepper, dried herbs, hint of tobacco, mineral traces. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, some spicy oak, tobacco and chocvolate, integrated tannins, persistent, medium body, good substance, delicate bite, still largely undeveloped, salty traces in the background, quite firm, light oak on a very good juicy finish.
