2011 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch Reserve trocken "Biiri", Burgenland, Austria

Clear, quite polished, firm aroma of ripe black and hints of red berries with some liquorice, delicate toasty nuances, tobacco, cedary nuances and a little peppery meat juice. Polished, tart, ripe, taut fruit, some acid bite and still quite present, yet fine tannin, peppery-spicy and a little toasty tones, persistent on the palate, still has freshness, ethereal dry herbal notes in the background, still has freshness, bite and precision despite its relatively high alcohol, seems almost youthful, some salt in the background, hints of bread spices, very good, tight, juicy and spicy finish with mineral tones. In excellent condition.

Muss etwas reifen.
