2005 Mittelburgenland DAC Ried Hochberg Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Translate to English Gereifter, etwas nussiger Duft nach dunklen Beeren und etwas Kirschen mit erdigen bis mineralischen, etwas holzigen und leicht getrocknet-vegetabilen Aromen. Klare, herb-saftige Frucht mit nussig-holzigen und erdigen Aromen, feinsandiges Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, etwas Mineralik, tabakige Aromen, etwas Rauch und eine Spur Ruß, salzige Anklänge, gewisser Säurebiss, recht elegant, guter bis sehr guter Abgang. Hat eindeutig zu seinem Vorteil entwickelt.

Editor note: Black berries and some cherries on the nose, fairly prominent dried provencale herbs. Clear and elegantly juicy on the palate, some mroe herbaceous notes, delciate roasted notes, some slightly green tannins, harmonious acidity, mineral traces in the background, well balanced, good finish.
