Editor note: Delicately matured, complex nose with ripe red berries, some cassis, herbs, chocolate and slightly medicinal mineral notes. Complex, too, on the palate, medium-bodied and polished, complex berry fruit with notes of cherries and herbs, quite substantial, but not exceptionally deep, oak detracts slightly from the character and potential of the wine, integrated tannins, tart smoky notes, good finish.
