Firm and deep, multifaceted, slightly fennel-like, somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetable to dried-herb-like nose reminiscent of ripe yellow fruits with hints of chanterelles, crab meat, and Swiss chard. Firm and concentrated, herbaceous-juicy fruit with a touch of melt, a hint of pepper and hibiscus, gripping phenolics, lively acidity, dense, deep and persistent, suggested seafood, sautéed mushrooms and bacon, chalky minerality, nutty wood aromas in the background, has power and finesse, a trace of butter in the very good to long finish.
