Nutty and somewhat fennel-like vegetal scent with stone fruit aromas, a little smoke, light tobacco, herbs and dried mushrooms. Very ripe, juicy, partly exotic fruit, very fine acidity and a light grip of crumbly tannin, nutty and delicately vanilla wood notes, a hint of marzipan, fennel again on the palate, persistent and powerful, certain warmth, lasting, in the background also dark stone fruit and currants, salty minerality, some salmiac, gains in subtlety and freshness with air, very good, firm finish with buttery flavours and roasted fat nuts.
