2009 Süd-Steiermark Ried Nussberg Sauvignon Blanc trocken Große STK Lage, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart nose with prominent vegetal and mineral notes, citrus fruit and some green pomaceous fruit, some bell peppers and elderberry flowers. Ripe, creamy, elegantly spicy fruit on the palate, delicate hint of oak, fairly prominent elegant acidity, concentrated and persistent, good depth, prominent mineral notes, still quite young, complex, clearly shows its origin, becomes more complex and gains depth with aeration, but remains tremendously refreshing, very good, long finish. Great stuff.
