2008 Süd-Steiermark Grauburgunder trocken Steirische Klassik, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm nose, ripe apples and mature pears, light nutty notes, herbaceous and mineral traces. Quite firm again on the palate, tart, spicy nutty fruit, salty traces, light leafy notes, very elegant and fairly prominent acidity, persistent and full-bodied in spite of the relatively light alcohol, still very young, fairly tart on a good finish.
