2020 Thermenregion Ried Wiege Zierfandler trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart, mushroomy, earthy and dried-vegetable to slightly tobacco nose with restrained yellow fruity aromas and a little root vegetable. Firmly woven, tart fruit with clearly vegetal, slightly smoky and nutty aromas, fine acidity and grip of ripe, fine sandy tannin, quite powerful, good persistence, a hint of dark berries in the background, quite clearly celery, salty tones, noticeable alcohol, which however binds well with air, a little spring onion, very good, juicy, grippy and smoky-spicy finish.
