2019 Thermenregion Ried Glas St. Laurent trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm scent of ripe black berries and a little cherry with juniper notes, laurel, very delicate toasty hints, a touch of tobacco, ash, leather, hints of marzipan and dark ethereal nuances. Quite tightly knit, tangy, almost cool dark fruit, some smoky and toasty wood notes, a hint of ash and coffee grounds, fine sandy, youthful tannin, beetroot in the background, mushroomy and leafy-vegetable nuances, still undeveloped, good persistence, very good, tight, tart finish with juniper nuances.
