2004 Thermenregion trocken große reserve, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Mineral nose with a light floral touch, red and black berries and some preserved sour cherries. Spicy oak and vanilla on the palate, light smoky notes, fruit pushed slightly to the background, rough, sandy, astringent tannins, quite full-bodied, prominent mineral notes, firm structure and good depth, slightly brittle, oak-dominated finish.
