2007 Rust Ausbruch süß Pinot Cuvée, Burgenland, Austria

Compact, complex nose, partly dried apples, some preserved and dried yellow fruit, undergrowth, earthy notes and nutshells, leafy with light oxidative notes. Very sweet on the palate, but almost light-bodied and cool, herbaceous and earthy notes, partly candied and partly dried red fruit, some caramelised apple, hint of pimento, still very closed, but already quite complex, lots of substance, very persistent on a long finish.
