2007 Blaufränkisch trocken Umriss, Burgenland, Austria

Preserved black berries and cherries on the nose, some malted notes and bread, light vegetal and floral notes, light oak. Tart but fairly juicy fruit on the palate, vegetal and earthy notes, oak, quite fine, still youthful tannins, still slightly angular, fairly persistent, slightly rough and tart on an otherwise good finish.
