2019 Weinviertel DAC Ried Bergen trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, vegetal as well as delicately smoky and nutty scent with rather restrained, tart yellow fruity notes. Ripe, juicy, very slightly warm fruit with vegetal notes and a little yellow spice, nutty and yeasty hints, lively acidity, some grip, good persistence, some power and melting, a touch of carbonic acid, hints of white-peppery spice, mineral hints, very good, juicy, spicy and grippy finish. Clearly more convincing than the first filling of the wine, which we already tasted in April 2020.
