2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Meletin Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Quite firm, clearly green-vegetable aroma reminiscent of asparagus and avocado with tart yellow-fruity aromas, a little light tobacco as well as nutty and earthy hints. Ripe, slightly warm and melting fruit, clearly nutty wood aromas, also nut butter and some smoke on the palate, again green-vegetable tones, fine acidity and noticeable tannin grip, good substance, medium power and some warmth, herbaceous hints, a hint of pepper, very good, firm, only again somewhat nutty-nougat-like wood accentuated finish.
