2021 trocken Cuvée "vinum sine nomine", Burgenland, Austria

Warm, tart, somewhat nutty, mushroomy and vegetal to ethereal-herbal nose, mixed berries and a few cherries, with a hint of tomato purée, meat juice and paprika powder. Firm, slightly warm fruit with nuances reminiscent of Amarena cherries, some nutty and spicy wood in the background, crumbly, quite present tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, salty minerality, hints of leather and laurel, a hint of coffee and pomegranate on a very good, grippy finish. Very skilful.
