The winery is located in the municipality of Deutschkreutz in the Austrian DAC region of Mittelburgenland. The parental business was taken over by Josef and Maria Reumann in 1990. A newly designed farm building was put into operation in 1999. In 2000, the well-known heart specialist Dr. Christian Bernard (1922-2001) visited the winery and took some samples back to South Africa. The vineyards cover 11 hectares of vines in the Goldberg, Hochäcker, Kart, Langäcker, Mitterberg, Neuberg, Satz, Siglosgrund, Tschiken and Weiselkreutz vineyards. They are 95% planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch (almost half), Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and St. Laurent, and 15% with Chardonnay. The vineyards are cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner in accordance with the company's motto "Natural wine production at the highest level". The average yield is 45 hl/ha.
The exclusively hand-picked grapes are processed gently and the grape musts are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The best red wines mature for up to 24 months in French barriques. The wines are matured in the two lines "Classic"(fruit-driven wines in stainless steel tanks) and "Selection" (12 to 24 months in barriques). The premium wines include the red wine cuvées "Phoenix" (Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Merlot) and "Vinum Sine Nomine" (selection of the best Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, limited to about 2,000 bottles), St. Laurent Selection, Merlot Goldberg, as well as various Mittelburgenland DAC (Blaufränkisch). The bottle label is dominated by a large significant "R". Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
