Tart, somewhat peppery, vegetal to herbaceous, nutty and slightly bacony nose, predominantly dark berries, hint of forest floor, blood and tomato paste. Polished, tart, juicy fruit with a certain acidic bite, some nutty and spicy wood notes and a hint of tobacco, present, crumbly tannins, good persistence, salty minerality, also has cool elements despite the high alcohol content, certain depth, very good finish with smoky and nutty nuances reminiscent of nutmeg.
