2020 trocken "vinum sine nomine", Burgenland, Austria

Quite polished, slightly ethereal-smoky, somewhat nutty and tobacco aroma of partly preserved predominantly black berries with nuances reminiscent of leather, tomato and red pepper. Polished, firm, tangy fruit with slightly peppery hints, present, fine sandy tannin, nutty and toasty wood notes in the background, good substance and persistence, a hint of laurel and tomato paste, hints of nutmeg, slightly sooty aromas in the very good, only slightly drying finish. Needs time.
