2020 Cabernet Franc trocken "Privat", Burgenland, Austria

Clear, quite firm aroma of more black than red berries with a hint of cherries, some nutty barrel tones, a hint of tobacco, mint, campfire and black olives. Firmly knit, ripe, juicy dark fruit, slightly smoky and toasty wood spice, juniper tones and pepper on the palate, again also black olives, has power and warmth but also cooling ethereal notes, crumbly sandy tannin, persistent, some depth, very good finish with dark juice, some roast, coffee grounds, chocolate and ethereal spice.
