Rather warmer, more herbal, firmer and quite deep, somewhat nutty and tobacco-like scent of predominantly dark berries with slightly sooty and ethereal-herbaceous hints, a touch of grilled vegetables, beef, and hinted tomato paste. Ripe, dark, somewhat canned fruit with cool plant notes, somewhat nutty and roasted wood aromas, and a trace of blood, sandy, quite present and a bit drying tannin, certain sustainability, earthy and stony tones, has certain power, good to very good, roasted and slightly minty finish with noticeable alcohol warmth.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2018+. What our ratings mean
