2005 Mittelburgenland trocken hoo, Burgenland, Austria

Preserved cherries and mixed berries on the nose, floral notes, herbs and spices, firm with light smoky notes. Firm again on the palate, very slightly tart youthful fruit, roasted and smoky oak, fine, slightly astringent tannins, delicate tart notes, light mineral notes, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
