2005 Ried Goldberg Merlot trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear nose, red berries and preserved light cherries, spicy, sweetish and roasted oak. Clear elegantly juicy fruit on the palate, light acid bite, delicate vegetal notes, fairly cool style, very fine and slightly astringent tannins, quite light-bodied, some psicy oak, attractive finish.
