2015 Kremstal DAC Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken Herzstück vom Kirchenberg, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly firm nose, light nutty, earthy and mineral notes, pomaceous fruit and a touch of stone fruit, delicate yeasty traces. Ripe, tranquil, creamy fruit on the palate, prominent spicy nutty notes, dried vegetal aromas, elegant acidity, slightly muted by tannins, still slightly sandy, fairly full-bodied and persistent, prominent earthy and mineral notes, slightly noticeable war malcohol, still young, hint of tobacco, some depth, hint of bacon, slightly rustic style, still slightly muted on a very good finish. Needs time to mature.

Editor note: Fairly firm nose, light nutty and prominent vegetal notes, delicate yeasty touch, partly candied yellow fruit, earthy notes, hint of white pepper. Ripe, tranquil, dry fruit on the palate, vegetal and earthy aromas, delicate hint of tobacco, some soup greens, elegant acidity, slightly astringent tannins, fairly creamy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of bacon, light stony notes, persistent and full-bodied, slightly rustic style, still largely undeveloped, vegetal notes in the background, toasted hazelnuts, tart spicy notes, good substance, hint of melon, very good finish.
