2009 Kremstal DAC Ried Pellingen Riesling Reserve trocken Privat, Erste Lage, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Very firm youthful nose, citrus fruit, apples and peaches, prominent mineral notes, tart herbaceous notes. Totally undeveloped on the palate, still closed, elegant juicy, polished, cool fruit, firm with prominent mineral notes, persistent and deep, almost vibrant style, very good long finish.

Best to drink: 2012-2017+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Firm, deep, tart nose, prominent mineral notes, spicy vegetal notes and tobacco, very clean peach and citrus fruit. Firm again on the palate, extremely prominent mineral notes, behind that some ripe but restrained fruit, very elegant, firm acidity, touch of tobacco, concentrated and very persistent, excellent depth, still totally undeveloped, excellent balance, long finish.
