Clear, firm, quite polished and fresh nose of predominantly dark berries and some cherries with slightly smoky and meaty-animalic notes, pepper, a hint of iodine and minty hints. Ripe, firm, tart-juicy fruit, chocolaty wood spice and again also some mint, peppery nuances, dense and persistent, ripe, fine, youthful tannin, delicate acid bite, lots of power, good depth, very good, firm, juicy and bitter-chocolaty finish with ethereal notes and some salt.

Best to drink: 2022-2028+. What our ratings mean
