Surprisingly cool nose, light nutty notes and some old oak, coconut, ripe pomaceous fruit, some gooseberries and a hint of vanilla, earthy traces, hint of bacon. Fairly firm, restrained fruit on the palate, prominent light oak, hint of bacon, elegant vegetal and herbaceous notes, fairly lively, polished acidity, good substance and persistence, integrated tannins provide grip, smoky and tarry traces, salty and herbaceous notes in the background, still largely undeveloped, medium body, some depth, peppery traces, noticeable alcohol, but surprisingly cool on a very good, firm finish.
