Preserved red berries and some plums on the nose, herbaceous and mineral notes, hints of mushrooms and lightly grilled meat, some malted notes, sugar candy and sage. Quite juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, heraceous notes, spicy tobacco, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, some roasted notes and spicy oak, light acid bite, full-bodied and persistent, mineral traces, some licorice and sugar candy, good depth, light oak and some astringent notes on a very good finish.

Editor note: Quite a concenttrated, malty nose with preserved red berries, beet toor and some mushrooms, spicy oak with light roasted and smoky notes, dried herbs, some sugar candy, sage and licorice, mineral traces. Fairly prominent tobacco notes on the palate, but also has quite juicy fruit, smoky, spicy oak, some dried flowers as well as some more dried herbs, light malted notes, touch of licorice, cool mineral traces in the background, prominent oak on a slightly astringent, otherwise good finish. The oak robs the wine of some of its charm.
