2002 Mittelburgenland Neckenmarkt trocken In Signo Leonis, Burgenland, Austria

Youthful nose with prominent spicy oak, also deep with mineral notes, very ripe black berries, sour cherries and plums, dried herbs. Concentrated and very juicy, prominent but integrated oak, roasted notes and some chocolate, malted notes, quite mature, but also still slightly astringent tannins, very creamy, very good depth and persistence, prominent mineral notes, still young, long finish.
