2022 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Sulz Sauvignon Blanc trocken "SB", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, firm and deep, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous, slightly bacony and hint of mushroomy pomaceous fruit aroma with a hint of white berries and pepper as well as nuances reminiscent of nutmeg, some freshly mown grass, some hay. Polished, juicy fruit with a delicately sweetish melt, lively acidity, has grip, good persistence, dark berries and young root vegetables in the background, slightly nutty wood notes, salty minerality, certain depth, very good finish with bite and a hint of lemon zest.
