2019 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Witscheiner Herrenberg Gelber Muskateller trocken "GM", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Very slightly developed, clearly floral, somewhat yellow-spicy, nutty and vegetal nose of yellow fruit with a hint of aniseed and sage. Polished, juicy, yet tart, firm fruit with slightly buttery and mushroomy flavours, lively acidity, somewhat crumbly tannin, certain substance and persistence, salty minerality, also mussel shells, hints of yellow spice and rose petals, with air also tobacco, very good finish with delicate phenolics.
