2018 Südsteiermark DAC Chardonnay trocken "November Rain", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Still undeveloped, firm, complex and deep aroma of ripe yellow fruits with herbal and floral nuances, a little root vegetables and distinct minerality. Concentrated, tightly knit, still rather compact fruit, clearly planty aromas, a little nutty, very fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, compact structure, lasting, good depth, some light wood and smoke, lots of light minerality, still barely developed, very good to long, firm, tart, yeasty, smoky and clearly chalky-salty finish with nutty and planty tones. mUss mature
