Firm, somewhat smoky and cedary-woody after ripe black berries and also black pepper with cherry notes, hints of leather, meat and mint. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit with some chocolate and toasty wood flavours, hints of leather and pepper again, crumbly tannin, good substance and persistence, cedary traces again, delicate acidity, a hint of citrus zest, hints of salt in the background, very good finish with warm juice, some wood spice and minty ethereal notes again.

Editor note: Firm, tart and rather polished, almost cool bouquet of black berries with cherry aromas, slightly fleshy tones, a little herbs, especially mint, hints of smoke and cedary traces. Ripe, quite firm, tangy, relatively polished fruit, crumbly, sandy, youthful tannins, a little cocoa and liquorice on the palate, smoky notes, hints of herbal tones and a touch of bacon, good substance and persistence, again cooling minty tones, salt in the background, very good, juicy finish.
