2006 Blauer Portugieser trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Preserved and partly dried cherries on the nose, mixed berries, hint of vanilla. Light-bodied, delicately fruity on the palate, straightforward, light sooty and smoky notes, quite an austere style, very fine tannins, well balanced, attractive finish.
