2016 Leithaberg DAC Ried Jungenberg Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, deep, complex nose, still veryslightly reductive, black berries and cherries, floral and peppery traces, pomegranate and herbaceous notes. Firm, juicy, dark fruit on the palate, prominent acid bite, firm, youthful tannins, herbaceous and prominent mineral notes, touch of peppery spice, light toasted notes, citrus zests in the background, some dark chocolate, hint of tobacco, still undeveloped, some depth, very firm structure, very good, tart, firm, dark, juicy finish.
