Clear black and red berry nose with cherry notes, herbs, a hint of pepper, and restrained barrel tones. Somewhat toasty and chocolaty in the mouth, crumbly-sandy tannins, more black than red berry tannins, certain sustainability, herbal notes, a little smoke, hinted milk chocolate, very slightly sandy tannins, good to very good finish.
