A hint of ethereal-spicy scent of more black than red berries and cherries with restrained barrel tones and hints of dark ethereal spice. Tart fruit with crumbly-sandy tannins, some smoke and dried-vegetable to tobacco notes, some power and persistence, fine bitter, also slightly ashy spice, a hint of bitter chocolate, good to very good, a little warm, very slightly drying finish.
