2021 Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Very slightly smoky and somewhat herbal-vegetable scent of predominantly black berries with a little floral and delicately peppery nuances. Tart, straightforward, rather slender fruit, youthful, quite fine tannin and some acid bite, nutty, earthy and very gently smoky nuances, some persistence, not very deep, traces of red pepper, good, very slightly drying finish.
