The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the community of Kleinhöflein near the Burgenland capital Eisenstadt in the DAC area Leithaberg (Austria). The family has been growing wine for five generations. Rudolf Kaiser was cellar master at the Esterházy Winery in Eisenstadt for many years before he took over the business from his father in 1997. The 14th century wine cellar was rebuilt according to the most modern requirements and was put into operation in 1999. The vineyards cover 24 hectares of vines on the slopes of the Leithagebirge. They are planted to 80% with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Blauburgunder, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz, and to 20% with the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling and Muskat-Ottonel. From another ten hectares, grapes are purchased from contract winegrowers.

Since the beginning of the 1990s, barriques made from local sweet chestnut wood have also been used. Most of these are made of American and French oak. The flagship is the red wine cuvée "Tenno" made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Merlot, aged in 100% new barriques. The name was given in memory of Kaiser senior, who once worked as a cellarmaster on a mission in Japan and produced a wine much appreciated by the Japanese emperor (Tenno). Other premium wines are Pinot Noir, Blaufränkisch and Chardonnay. In suitable years, sweet wines are also produced. About 10% is exported to Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Fine spirits and grape juice are also produced.
