2022 Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Blauer Silvaner trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Quite firm, somewhat vegetal and a touch ashy aroma with restrained yellow fruity aromas, a little dark berries and pistachios. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, a little reminiscent of pineapple with lemon and blood orange tones, lively acidity and still slightly drying tannin, good substance and persistence, hints of pungent mustard on the palate, noticeable alcohol which, however, integrates well with air, a lot of salt in the background, still undeveloped, taut, rather tart finish with bite and flavours reminiscent of rye.
