2022 Retzbach Benediktusberg Grauburgunder Kabinett trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Relatively cool, slightly smoky and somewhat fresh-vegetable to herbaceous nose with pome and stone fruit notes and a hint of young root vegetables. Clear, juicy, slightly sweetish fruit with a hint of dark berries and hints of spring onions, lively acidity, has some grip and persistence, chalky minerality, very good finish with bite.
