Description to Ansonica Costa dell 'Argentario DOC
DOC area for white wine in the Maremma landscape in the Italian region of Tuscany. The zone on the Tyrrhenian coast includes the municipalities of Isola del Giglio and Monte Argentario (covering the entire peninsula), and parts of Capalbio, Manciano and Orbetello in the province of Grosseto. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna can be indicated on the label followed by the name of the vineyard. The wine is made from Ansonica = Inzolia (zum. 85%), and other authorised varieties (max. 15%).
