2023 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, still slightly muted, somewhat almondy and fresh vegetal to herbaceous nose, light yellow fruit with a hint of gooseberries. Polished, not quite dry fruit with still yeasty traces, lively acidity, delicate grip, certain persistence, hints of fennel and pine nuts, salty minerality, good to very good finish.
