2022 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC St. Peter Chardonnay trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Relatively cool, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and a hint of bacon flavour with citrus and stone fruit notes as well as a hint of artichokes, dried mushrooms and red berries. Clear, juicy fruit with a hint of lemon verbena, lively acidity, light tannic grip, some persistence, hints of barrel wood, salty and chalky minerality, hints of Earl Grey, some pineapple, very good, slightly warm finish.
